Less than a week later, I had a finished song that captured things I'd struggled to articulate for years. This wasn't just a transaction for Jason, he deeply cares about his work and people. The Tai Po fire in Hong Kong was heartbreaking for all of us. During that time Jason reached out with his condolences and shared a song he had created called "We Stand with You". He made it entirely on his own initiative, and it was such a thoughtful, moving tribute. The song really touched us, it was incredible how he used his creativity to create something that resonated so deeply. At a time when we needed connection the most, this music brought us together. And before I knew it my life was immortalised in a rock ballad which I felt compelled to contribute more and more. It was amazing to hear I was nominated for a song about my life story. It's something special to be able to create an art piece where such depth and emotion can be turned into a song. The moment I got the message from JaSONiQ, it was really smooth and comfortable to chat with. The process was completely new to me, yet I got the explanation and was able to follow along quickly. Very transparent and really personal, even letting him have his creative spin on it. When the end result was there, with a few surprises, it was amazing to hear the final piece.
